A very warm welcome to my readers to this exciting world of emergency medicine!!!

A specialty that is still in its early stages of growth but is in a very high demand worldwide. Well, as it is rightly mentioned elsewhere, "It is the only specialty not defined by conditions of one organ systems, but rather by their time critical nature." As an ED healthcare worker, one not only cares for the patient, but does so at the time when they needed care the most. In addition, one has to simultaneously care for the anxious relatives attending with the patients.

Through this blog, we shall present educational literature, which we believe would help the younger ED physicians and trainees, ED Physician assistants, and nurses to strengthen their understanding of emergency medicine, and in turn help them in providing the highest level of care for their patients.
